Another feature of the Bungle Bungles National Park is the Echidna chasm. Rocks raising straight up leaving the narrowest opening. At some points, the space between the rocks is one arm length. The rocks are so tall and the opening is so small, that except for at noon when the sun is at its highest, the chasm is shaded. To give you an idea of the size of this place, the dot in the picture is Fred.
